Korea Quantum Computing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter ‘KQC’) announced today that it has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Vibe Company to collaborate on the development and commercialization of large-scale artificial intelligence (AI) and large language model (LLM) technologies.

The agreement was signed on March 5 at Vibe Company’s headquarters in Hannam-dong, Seoul. Under the partnership, Vibe will leverage KQC’s GPU-based computing nodes and advanced AI–quantum infrastructure to accelerate LLM training, technology development, and joint business initiatives.

Through this collaboration, Vibe plans to further advance its proprietary LLM, VibeGeM, by accelerating large-scale pre-training and model optimization. By combining Vibe’s AI software capabilities with KQC’s high-performance computing infrastructure, the two companies aim to diversify their business portfolios and expand the commercial application of generative AI technologies.

Vibe currently offers a range of AI-powered enterprise solutions built on VibeGeM, including Vibe Search and Vibe Chatbot, which help organizations improve operational efficiency and drive digital transformation.

KQC is Korea’s only company providing a full-stack AI–quantum computing platform, including infrastructure and commercialization-ready solutions. Since signing a technology partnership with IBM in 2022, KQC has continued to expand its capabilities. In December 2023, the company secured the deployment of IBM’s latest AI supercomputing systems and the IBM Quantum System Two in Korea, establishing the country’s first commercial AI–quantum computing research center.

“Over the past year, Vibe has successfully developed VibeGeM and brought multiple AI solutions to market,” said Sung-Eon Kim, CEO of Vibe Company. “By partnering with KQC, which delivers IBM’s world-class AI and quantum computing technologies in Korea, we expect to significantly enhance the performance of VibeGeM while expanding our AI-driven business opportunities.”

John J.Y. Kim, CEO of Korea Quantum Computing, added, “This partnership brings together the core strengths of both companies to accelerate the development of large-scale LLM technologies. The advanced Korean-language LLM solutions we will jointly develop are expected to capture market leadership and meet the rapidly growing demand for high-quality generative AI in Korea.”
