ITCEN Group announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Korea Quantum Computing Co., Ltd. (KQC), led by CEO Joonyoung Kim, to collaborate on the GPU as a Service (GPUaaS) business.

KQC is Korea’s first and only company dedicated to the operation and commercialization of quantum computing and AI infrastructure. In response to rapidly growing demand for AI service development, KQC plans to launch its “KQC AI GPU Farm” in June, providing enterprises with cost-efficient access to high-performance GPU resources while addressing challenges related to GPU investment and operations.

ITCEN Group is a leading IT services group with subsidiaries including ITCEN Global, ITCEN Entec, ITCEN CTS, and ITCEN Cloit. In particular, ITCEN Cloit, which specializes in cloud-native and AI/data services, will take charge of operating KQC’s GPU Farm and jointly develop the GPUaaS business based on its Managed Service Provider (MSP) capabilities.

In addition, ITCEN Group will collaborate with C-Platform, a provider of AI, data, and cloud IT solutions, to expand GPU cloud services nationwide through partnerships with business partners.

Se-Hee Lee, Vice Chairman of ITCEN Group, stated,

“We are pleased to collaborate with KQC, a member of the IBM Quantum Network that is leading innovation in quantum computing and contributing to the growth of Korea’s AI industry. Leveraging our extensive customer coverage across the public sector, education, and national research institutes, along with our cloud expertise, we will actively support the expansion of GPUaaS services.”

Jay J.H. Kweon, Chairman of KQC, commented,

“This MOU marks a meaningful milestone as we officially launch our AI data center GPUaaS services together with ITCEN Group. By combining KQC’s AI infrastructure technology with ITCEN Group’s proven capabilities, we expect to deliver stable and efficient GPU services to organizations requiring high-performance computing resources.”

Going forward, KQC and ITCEN Group plan to pursue joint projects to expand GPU-based AI infrastructure and stimulate market growth, while strengthening AI business collaboration across diverse industries and jointly building a robust AI infrastructure and service ecosystem.
